Q. What’s the process of working with Snapme?

A. Great question! You can either give us a call to discuss your options in detail, or use the booking form at the bottom of this website. Once we have all the details we require, we’ll provide you with a quote. A 20% deposit is requested to secure your booking. After the job is complete we’ll provide you a private, secure link to a proofing gallery where you can view and select the images you’d like us to post process. Depending on the arrangement, we’ll then provide you with high quality jpeg images prepped for both web and print, or, we’ll have prints made and sent to you.


Q. Does Snapme use high quality equipment?

A. Absolutely. This is something we take very seriously. Our end to end process is covered with highly quality, industry standard equipment. Photos are always captured using high end Canon cameras and lenses. Our studio is equipped with professional Elinchrom lighting equipment. You can be assured that the files and/or prints that result will certainly meed your intended usage requirements.


Q. Does Snapme provide services outside of Melbourne?

A. Yes! We’re available for photographic assignments anywhere in Australia or the world. Simply provide details of the destination/s in the booking form at the bottom of the website and we’ll be in touch to work out the logistics.


Q. Does Snapme take on assignments that fall outside the genres of work displayed on this site.

A. Definitely. We have multiple staff photographers and a network of photographic professionals. We always assign the right person for the job to ensure the highest possible outcomes for the client.


Q. Does Snapme offer a retouching service alone?

A. Yes! We’re happy to retouch pre-existing photographs. Contact us either by phone, or using the contact button top right and provide us with a detailed explanation of what you’re after. We’ll follow up with a dropbox folder for you to supply us with your high resolution files to be worked on. We’ll also request a worksheet outlining exactly what you expect of the final images and your intended usage so we can tailor output accordingly.


Q. Does Snapme have multiple photographers available?

A. We do. If you require more than one photographer, we have contract photographers and videographers that work in accordance with the Snapme professional service guidelines. We also have a number of assistants available who are utilized out our discretion depending on the size of the job.


Q. What are your fees?

A. Our pricing varies depending on your requirement. There are two places where you can find general pricing information on this website 1) Click the ‘Fees’ link on the main menu at the top of the site, or 2) Click the ‘Bookings’ bar at the bottom of the website. Both options will provide a form for you to enter your requirement and general fees will be outlined. If you have a specific requirement that falls outside our general pricing guideline, please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide a custom quote.


Q. Do I need to pay an upfront fee before the shoot?

A. A deposit of 20% is required upfront to secure your booking and cover administration and pre-shoot development costs.


Q. Are there any cancellation fees if my shoot doesn’t go ahead?

A. In the event of a cancellation you will be refunded half of your deposit. 10% of the total cost of the shoot covers administration and any pre-shoot development and/or booking arrangements that may have been made.


Q. Will I be charged a fee if I reschedule my booking?

A. There is no charge to reschedule a service within 4 weeks of the original booking. An additional 10% will be required if you’d like to reschedule outside of the 4 week period.


Q. Do you have an office where I can meet you and discuss my requirements in detail?

A. We certainly do. Please refer to the ‘Contact’ section of the website for location details. Due to the nature of our job we’re often shooting on location, so ‘Walk in’s’ are not advisable. Please call or email us to arrange a time to meet.


Q. Do you provide a printing service?

A. An affiliate company prints our images. We have a close working relationship which has allowed us to fine tune our post production processes and output colour profiling for the best possible results.


Q. Can you create photobooks?

A. Yes, in fact we’re able to arrange anything from a 4×6 photo, to bus stop advertising, to a billboard or stage backdrop. Just let us know your requirement and we’ll make it happen.
